Isaacs on the Quay is a part of the Bentleys Restaurants Limited group, which includes restaurants, bars and a brewery, as well the Vikings Bakehouse, which is coming soon.

Briarbank Bar and Brewery

Opened in May 2013, Briarbank hand-crafts quality beer – including Grapefruit IPA and Samuel Harvey V.C. – produced in our microbrewery and delivered to our first floor bar, as well as to the Merchant Bar within Isaacs on the Quay.

Passionate about local brewing, Briarbank hosts an annual Homebrew Competition every October, as well as two beer festivals – one at Easter and another on the August bank holiday weekend – featuring over thirty beers and ciders, including craft brews.

We also host two gin festivals – one during the early May bank holiday and one in September – with more than ninety gins, all served together with Fever Tree tonic and your choice of garnish. Live music is another fantastic feature of all festivals.

Tours of the Briarbank Brewery cost just £10 per person. Dates must be booked in advance via the Briarbank Brewery website.

Vikings Bakehouse

Coming soon to the Ipswich Waterfront is Vikings Bakehouse. Situated next to the Isaacs Griddle area, Vikings Bakehouse will be selling a variety of plant-based food, available to eat in or take away.

Keep an eye on our social media pages for details of when this exciting new venue will open. Alternatively, why not head across to their website, vikingsbakehouse.co.uk and sign up to their mailing list. You’ll get to hear first-hand when their doors will be open.
